Pray for Church Ministries today. "Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know." Jer 33:3 You've probably heard the old saying, "You can't see the forest for the trees". To me, this warns of becoming so immersed in one's activity that they forget why they're doing it. You've provided me with eyesight, Jireh. I thank you for that. You also have provided spiritual eyesight which, in my walk with Christ, is more dependable than my physical eyes. I confess however, that all too often I have relied solely upon my physical eyesight and become lost in all the distraction. And, the longer I'm surrounded by it, I forget more and more about what lies "beyond the trees". After years of wandering among the trees, I wonder if it is possible to forget what lies beyond them. I don't want to die a few feet away from the edge of the forest, Father. Ps33:18,19 says that Your eyes are on those who fear You - on those whose hope is in Your unfailing love to deliver them from death and keep them alive in famine. Our activities mesmerize us, Father. Open our eyes, lead us - we will follow.. WebServant "Turn you eyes upon Jesus, Look full in His wonderful face, and the things of earth will grow strangely dim in the light of his glory and grace."
