Then the Lord my God will come, and all the holy ones with him.
Zechariah 14:5

Our daily reading of Scripture taken from Zechariah and Revelation are closely connected. In Zechariah, we read that Messiah comes from heaven with his holy ones at the end of the seven-year tribulation. His feet touch the Mount of Olives and an resulting earthquake splits the mountain in two from the east to west making a valley down the middle. In Revelation 20, John says the end of the tribulation period is marked with the beginning of a 1,000 year period where Messiah reigns on earth. God's word is seemingly open to a page where Zechariah is the left page and Revelation the right.

This morning I'd like to focus on the left page that says God will bring ALL the holy ones with him to earth. Now, for God to bring ALL the saints with Him, that implies they were with Him wherever He was. Some call this this proof of a post tribulational rapture, where there is a resurrection just before the descension to the Mount of Olives (hence all the saints are together). Others however, contend the coming with God originated from the clouds where the Saints were either caught up before the tribulation or died during it and immediately joined the Lord in the clouds. Still others believe in a pre-tribulational rapture and some a mid-tribulational rapture. And believe it or not, some even believe in a rapture at all (the amillennial opinion).

Now, your interpretation may go one way or the other, but according to Zechariah there WILL be a pre-millennial rapture. How do I know this for a fact? How else can ALL the saints come with God if they didn't get a transformed body first and go to be with Him? Combined with Paul's testimony in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 and 1 Corinthians chapter 15, it sounds like Zechariah, John and Paul were in on the same briefing meeting with the Holy Spirit.

All this may be confusing for you, but all you need to do is answer one question: will you come WITH the Lord on that day, or will you be in the ground or on the ground watching? The only way to be with the coming King is to know Him as personal Savior. Now you know. You have ALL the information you need in order to make an informed decision about becoming a Saint. Can I sign you up? The job is rewarding and the benefits eternal.
