Emotions are the true reflection of what we feel, everything else is manufactured.

Live it
"How are you today?" "I'm fine, how about you?" "Just fine!" Probably the most spoken interchange in the English language, this normal greeting represents the way everyone wants to be perceived, but truth be known is seldom accurate. One person artificially expresses interest in the other and the person hearing it replies with what they think the other wants to hear. Then he reciprocates with the same question, acting like he really cares how the other person is doing. But you have to wonder what the first person asking would do if he had to stop and listen to details as to how the other person is really doing. Needless to say, the more people started being honest, everyone would change their greeting to "Hi," where the same one word response would be welcomed.

If you want to have some fun today, the next time someone asks you how you're doing, stop and tell them. After you make them stop and listen to how God is blessing you, say "Thank you for asking. Is there anyway I can pray for you today?" After they pick up their jaw from the sidewalk and they back up, unable to speak, smile and thank God for adding some sunshine in someone's life. Oh yeah, and really do pray for them. Now that's a fine greeting!

Pray it
Words mean something and I control what comes out of my mouth. Make the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart acceptable in your sight, O God, my Redeemer.
