Everette A. Allen, 88, of Memphis, custodian for Memphis City Schools, died of Alzheimer disease Wednesday, February 23, 2000 at Fox Acres Assisted Living Center in Memphis, Tennessee. |

Services were held at noon Saturday, February 26th at Memorial Park Funeral Home with burial in Memphis Memory Gardens. Mr Allen was a member of Greenlaw Baptist Church and widower of Virginia E. Allen. |

He leaves three daughters, Betty Chastain and Sandra Allen, both of Memphis, and Linda Page of Rosedale, Mississippi; three sons, Richard Allen, Thomas Allen and Harold Allen, all of Memphis; a brother, Andrew Jack Allen of Warner Robbins, Georgia, ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to the Alzheimer Association. This Prayertower Memorial is a gift of love from Betty Chastain and her family to the memory of her father. |
